  HOW TO FIND YOUR MOVIE:

All titles are grouped alphebetically.  Click on the page letter above our Movie Views Archives title to find films that begin with that letter.  Each page has a list of films reviewed at the top of the page. Scroll down to find the one you are interested in. Or just browse the pages if you're looking for a good film.

Pre-2000 Films:
Some of the best!

thumbsup-1.gif

Films that we've seen on DVD, Video or Cable are in a separate section at the bottom of each page. We don't grade these films because we haven't seen them as the filmmakers intended.  Instead, we use the "Thumbs" System. Only "THUMBS UP" films are included.
A list of our "Thumbs Up" films is at the top of each page, just under the list of movies reviewed.

And Thanks for visiting our Archives!

About Us:
We have loved the movies ever since we were kids and we see between 75 and 100 movies a year--not counting movies we see on videotape. There are certain genres that we tend to avoid: Teenage slasher movies, Most Horror films, Animated films, Most Science Fiction films, and any film with "Dude" in the title.

Our Grading System:
Since we are both former teachers, we use the classic A, B, C style of grading. Our grade is based on our enjoyment of and emotional reaction to the film. We also consider the quality of the filmmaking and acting. However, when we review a film we have seen on videotape, we don't give it a grade because we aren't seeing it the way it was meant to be seen. Therefore, we only give it a thumbs up or thumbs down.
